The plant behind the parts
An OEM foundry and machine shop, not a trading company
Qingzhou Hengri Metal Products Co., Ltd. operates its own silica-sol investment casting line and CNC machining bays in Qingzhou, Shandong. We quote, engineer, cast, machine, inspect and ship — the same team, start to finish.
Who we are
Built around the parts other suppliers turn away
We started as a small casting workshop serving regional machinery builders. The turning point came when customers began sending drawings that other foundries had declined — thin walls, tight concentricity, awkward geometry, small batches. Instead of quoting them out, we invested in the pattern shop and the machine shop needed to finish them properly.
That approach took us into export markets: we now ship directly to buyers in Japan, Italy and South Korea, with North America and Europe as our current focus markets. Most accounts started as a single sample order and grew into recurring production.
We are deliberately not the cheapest quotation in your inbox. We are the one that produces the drawing you sent, on the date we promised, with the paperwork to prove it.

Equipment list
What we actually run
Buyers who know the industry read an equipment list like a CV — it tells them what you can and cannot make before anyone exchanges a drawing. Every line below is equipment we run today, with the process it serves.
Investment casting
| Equipment | Status | Role in the process |
|---|---|---|
| Wax injection machines (auto / semi-auto / manual) | In-house | Wax pattern production for investment casting |
| Silica-sol shell building line (slurry & stucco) | In-house | Ceramic shell building around the wax pattern |
| Medium-frequency induction furnace, 175 kW | In-house | Melting and pouring of stainless, low-alloy and high-temperature alloys |
| Shot blasting | In-house | Shell removal and surface cleaning after knockout |
| Lost-foam casting line | Separate facility | EPS pattern process for parts from 20 kg up to 2,000 kg |
Machining
| Equipment | Status | Role in the process |
|---|---|---|
| Imported CNC lathes | In-house | Turned profiles, shafts, bushes and rings |
| CNC milling machines | In-house | Faces, bores, slots and drilling patterns |
| Milling and EDM for tooling | In-house | Wax die and tooling manufacture |
| Cast-to-print delivery | In-house | Casting, machining, finishing and inspection under one roof |
Heat treatment
| Equipment | Status | Role in the process |
|---|---|---|
| Normalising | As required | Applied to drawing or customer specification |
| Quenching | As required | Selected by material and section thickness |
| Tempering | As required | After hardening, with records issued with the delivery |
Inspection & laboratory
| Equipment | Status | Role in the process |
|---|---|---|
| Optical emission spectrometer | In-house | Chemical analysis and material verification of every heat |
| Hydrostatic pressure tester | In-house | Pressure testing of valves and pipe fittings |
| Ultrasonic cleaner | In-house | Cleaning before final inspection and packing |
| Wax pattern and appearance inspection | In-house | Pattern inspection and finished-part visual inspection |
| Penetrant / ultrasonic / radiographic testing | On project basis | PT, UT, RT or X-ray where the drawing requires it |
| Material test certificates | On project basis | Issued with heat number traceability where required |
Finishing
| Process | In-house / partner | Specification |
|---|---|---|
| Shot blasting | In-house | Shell removal and surface cleaning after knockout |
| Coating (paint) | As required | Applied to the specification on your drawing |
| Galvanising | As required | Applied to the specification on your drawing |
Outsourced finishing is carried out by audited partners with certificates retained on file for your order. Full heat treatment, plating and coating certificates are issued on request.
Milestones
How the plant grew
A short history, useful for buyers assessing whether a supplier is stable enough to hold a multi-year programme.
-
Over 20 years — Own foundry established
Casting operations established in Qingzhou, Shandong, supplying cast and machined components.
-
2011 — Quality system first certified
ISO 9001 certification first achieved; material verification and inspection brought in-house.
-
Export operations — Japan, Italy, South Korea
Direct export to overseas buyers under our own import and export licence.
-
2026 — Re-certified to ISO 9001:2015
Certificate issued by TÜV Rheinland (no. 01 100 1430766), valid until 15 April 2029.
