Where our parts end up

Components for equipment that cannot fail quietly

Our castings and machined parts go into machinery where a cracked bracket or a worn insert means downtime for someone. That shapes how we inspect, document and pack.

Industry, parts and materials

Use this to check quickly whether we already work in your sector. If your industry is not listed, it usually means we have not been asked yet — not that we cannot.

Industry Typical components Common materials Certification and standard
Automotive & commercial vehicle Brackets, clevis and linkage parts, hardware 304, 316, 409, 410, 420, 430 Grade and standard as stated on your drawing
Valve & pump Bodies, bonnets, discs, seats, wear rings 304, 316, 316L, 410, 420, low-alloy, high-temperature alloy Precision casting of valves up to DN300 — certified scope
Agricultural machinery Wear parts, tines, hitch and seeding hardware 410, 420, 430, low-alloy steel Grade and standard as stated on your drawing
Construction & mining Teeth, pins and bushes, coupler parts 409, 420, 430, low-alloy steel Grade and standard as stated on your drawing
Rail & transit Fittings, brackets, hardware 304, 316, 409, 430 Grade and standard as stated on your drawing
Marine & offshore Deck hardware, cleats, fittings 304, 316, 316L, 430 Grade and standard as stated on your drawing
Food & pharmaceutical equipment Hygienic fittings, valve parts, machine components 304, 316L Grade and standard as stated on your drawing
Energy & oil field Fittings, unions, heat-resistant components 309, 310, 316, high-temperature alloy Grade and standard as stated on your drawing

Standard references are indicative of typical requirements in each sector. Final acceptance is always against the specification stated on your drawing and purchase order.

Sector detail

What buyers in each sector ask us for

Automotive & commercial vehicle

High-volume programmes with tight process control, but also aftermarket quantities where a discontinued part needs reviving. We keep the tooling and the inspection programme on file so a repeat order does not restart from zero.

  • Linkage, clevis and suspension brackets
  • Exhaust and turbo-adjacent components
  • Case-hardened pins, gears and splined parts

Valve & pump

Pressure-retaining parts where internal soundness matters. We cast the body, machine the sealing faces and flanges, and can arrange radiographic or penetrant testing evidence for critical zones rather than asking you to take it on trust.

  • Valve bodies, bonnets, discs and seats
  • Pump impellers, casings and wear rings
  • 400-series and low-alloy parts for wear or cost-driven service

Agricultural machinery

Seasonal demand means lead time discipline is everything. Parts must land before the season, not during it. We plan these programmes around your build schedule.

  • Ground-engaging wear parts and tines
  • Hitch, three-point linkage and drawbar components
  • Seeding and harvesting hardware

Construction & mining

Abrasion and impact are the enemies. We combine a wear-resistant grade with a heat treatment matched to your application, and where the original design is over-engineered we will say so.

  • Excavator teeth, adapters and inserts
  • Pins, bushes and coupler components
  • Crusher and screening wear plates

Rail & transit

Safety-critical hardware with paperwork that has to survive an audit. Full heat-number traceability, retained inspection records and, where required, third-party inspection before dispatch.

  • Brackets and mounting hardware
  • Coupling and brake-system components
  • Permanent-way fittings

Marine & offshore

Salt water destroys the wrong grade quickly. We cast marine hardware in 304, 316, 316L and 430, and supply the inspection evidence your specification calls for.

  • Deck hardware, cleats and fairleads
  • Propulsion-adjacent and shaft-line components
  • Offshore structural fittings

Food & pharmaceutical equipment

Hygiene is a design requirement, not a finish. We discuss crevices, radii and surface finish at quotation stage, then verify with roughness measurement against the agreed specification rather than assuming the result.

  • Hygienic valve and pump components
  • Fittings, brackets and machine parts in 304 / 316L
  • Crevice-free transitions and agreed surface finish on hygienic parts

Energy & oil field

Heat and pressure take their toll on fittings. We work to the applicable ASTM specification and can provide NDT and hardness evidence with the shipment.

  • High-temperature valve and fitting components
  • Heat-resistant parts in 309 and 310
  • Unions and couplings

Not on the list?

Send the drawing anyway

Plenty of our work sits in machinery categories that do not have a neat label — packaging equipment, industrial doors, HVAC actuators, test rigs, renewable energy hardware. What matters is the material, the tolerance and the volume, not the sector heading.

If we are not the right supplier for your part, we will tell you — and where we can, we will point you at the process that is.

Tell us what you are building

Describe the application and send whatever drawings you have, even if they are marked preliminary. Early manufacturability input is free and often saves money later.
